Hybridization
Illumina's direct hybridization assays contain multiple, independent arrays per BeadChip, allowing you to do more research, accurately and reproducibly, at a lower cost per study. Simple procedures allow for high-throughput processing of samples, all without the need for extra automation equipment. Highlights of the direct hybridization assay include:
- High reproducibility thanks to an average of 30 beads per beadtype for each array, 50-mer probes and 100% array QC.
- Multiple arrays per chip simplify use and generate higher throughput.
- Low per-sample costs with arrays half the price of the competition.
- A flexible hybridization chamber can run any combination of up to four BeadChips and up to 48 samples.
